New Orleans Public Service Transit Token - Vintage Black
Vintage 1970's New Orleans Public Service Inc. transit token. New Orleans Public Service Inc, known as NOPSI, sold transit tokens which helped to speed up boarding streetcars and buses. The first was issued in 1947 and then another in 1970; the difference being only in the reverse inscription, saying “One Base Fare” instead of “One Cash Fare.” Today, you can enjoy wearing a classic New Orleans Public Service Transit Token on your shirt!
The art is Hand Created from an original transit token and the design is Hand Printed in the South on the front of a Women's Poly-Combed Ringspun Cotton-Rayon Tri-Blend Vintage Black semi-relaxed feminine fitted t-shirt with our NOPSI logo printed on the back. Simply the softest tee that feels like a well loved favorite. Wear with pride and celebrate New Orleans history!
