Lincoln Beach - Heather

Regular price $25.00 Sale

Lincoln Beach was an amusement park along the shore of Lake Pontchartrain in Eastern New Orleans near an area known as Little Woods from 1939 through 1965. The land where Lincoln Beach was located was deeded to the city by a wealthy real estate investor and international fruit magnate known as Sam "The Banana Man" Zemurray for the purpose of using it as a permanent beach for the area's African American population. It featured various rides, games, restaurants, lake swimming and frequent live music. Today, you can enjoy wearing a Lincoln Beach design from 1960 on your shirt!

We've done our best to pay homage - the art is Hand Created from original art from several posters and the design is Hand Printed in the South on the front of a Men's / Unisex Poly-Combed Ringspun Cotton-Rayon Tri-Blend Vintage Black standard relaxed t-shirt with our NOPSI logo printed on the back. Simply the softest tee that feels like a well loved favorite. Proudly wear New Orleans history!
